Functionality
Gaviscon Liquid Peppermint belongs to a group of medicines called "reflux suppressants", which form a protective layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent stomach acid escaping from the stomach where it works into the food pipe causing pain and discomfort. It is used for the treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion, which may occur, for example, following meals or during pregnancy.

Target customer groups
Adult, including the elderly and children 6 years and over.

Method of application Usage Instructions
For oral use. Shake well before use. Take after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times a day.
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 10-20ml (2-4 5 ml spoonfuls)
Children 6 to 12 years: Take 5-10ml (1-2 5 ml spoonfuls)
Children under 6 years: Seek your doctor’s advice.

500mg sodium alginate, 267mg sodium bicarbonate and 160mg calcium carbonate
